Meet Dr. Marie Halaskova

I left traditional career paths 20 days after my PhD defense.

I spent more than 10 years at university. Pharmacy, medical bioanalytics, a PhD in Pathobiochemistry and Xenobiochemistry, cancer therapy research. I loved science. I still do.

But somewhere at that lab bench, burned out, I realised I didn't want to spend the next 30–40 years there. And I had no idea what to do instead.

I was not a social media person at all. No audience. No personal brand. No clue how people found clients online. I didn't know how to sell or what I could even offer. I just knew the life I was being offered wasn't the one I wanted anymore.

So I learned everything from scratch - branding, content, messaging, marketing, sales, identity work - and slowly built a completely different life. Messy, uncomfortable, and entirely mine. Because I believe your expertise and creativity were never meant to stay hidden inside one system.
